That my Livejournal needs some Doctor'ey, David Tennant'ey love.
:P
So I've changed my icon, and have been researching for some fun Doctor Who communities to follow.
In other news...
-Sage is missing. She's been gone for a few days, and so now my parents and everyone is saying she's gone, but I stand by my optimism when I say that she'll be back.
-I really need to stop watching 'Top Gear'. While working on the SAT yesterday, I came across a question that was about a British family on a caravan trip. And what was the first thing I thought of? Jeremy Clarkson blowing up a caravan. Good lord.
-SCHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL'S OUT. FOR. SUMMAH! Well, almost. A couple more days, and I'm freeeeeeeeeeee. Just gotta make it past finals. *groan*
-Madison's graduation is on Monday, but after some thinking, I've decided not to go. The seniors know I love them, plus I've got to get some studying done for finals.
-Uhm.... oh, boyfriend. Yes. Right.
Buggar.
[case closed]
-I'm about to go upload a new video to Youtube - a video project some of my friends and I made for Spanish class. Pretty lame, but not bad considering we had NO money, and spent NO money making it. Talk about budget film. Beat that, Ed Wood.
Hopefully it'll be up by the end of the day, but if you'd like to check it out, my Youtube channel is scissorhandslove9. While you're waiting feel free to check out some of my other videos. I'm not that great, but it keeps me occupied.
-Found an old friend on Myspace recently. Or rather, they found me. Jesus - was good bud of mine in 6th grade, but sadly moved to Mexico half way through the school year. So I haven't seen or heard from him since. I was sooo excited when he contacted me, but he has not yet returned my comment. Must be busy. But I'm just glad he hasn't disappeared off the face of the planet, much to me and Annika's previous beliefs.
Well, sister's here so I'd better run.
It's been fun talking to myself.
Best wishes.

And one more thing-
Nov. 22nd, 2008 | 09:01 pm
mood:
contemplative
music: "Doomsday" by Murray Gold
I'm listening to "All My Loving" by the Beatles, and I've realized something (Yes, this is one of my over-analyzing moments).
When he says "I'll pretend that I'm kissing the lips I am missing", is he talking about cheating on his girlfriend while he's away and imagining the person he's kissing was his girlfriend? Or is he quite literally pretending to kiss someone?? Because the first option is just wrong, and the second option would make him look like a complete lunatic.
Just a thought.
It's still one of my favorite Beatles songs, nonetheless.

music: "So Contagious" by Acceptance
The last couple of days have been filled with very nice surprises. I don't usually like surprises, but these have been very good ones. A couple days ago I found a rare Monkees record for $1 (one of the songs was mispelled, it's worth like $15, even in its crappy shape); yesterday my mom bought me a Beatles' Revolver record that had an original, mint Beatles 45 sleeve hidden inside; and today I had a very unexpected visit from Carolyn (whom I haven't seen nor talked to for...almost a year)! She popped up on my doorstep to deliver a two-year-old Christmas gift to me-- an AWESOME John Lennon book and an equally amazing Skull scarf (one of her traditional Christmas-creations :D). It really was a surprise, I was sitting in my dining room doing a Star Wars puzzle when my dad called "Uh..Hayley?! There's someone here to see you!". Wow. What a week.
So what's next?

Youtube vid idea stuff.

music: None. Listening to the news.
I have a story line for a different video, but I'm pissed cause I have to wait for The Dark Knight to come out on DVD before I can make this one I have in mind cause I need all of Gary Oldman's scenes. Rawr. Anyway, here's a brief synopsis of what the storyline is going to be, and how I'm going to do it.
Gordon McKinley is a secret agent working for the New York police force, who is aging and is desiring an early retirement. He arranges to have an apprentice sent to him to teach his ways. When his new apprentice, [no name], arrives in his office a week later, he is shocked and outraged that she is a girl. He is scolded by his boss and the apprentice-provider for being sexist, and is forced to go along with it anyway. He trains her, bringing her along to all of his toughest missions, nearing death several times. But this new apprentice has powers and strength beyond even him, it is this skill and strength that saves their asses during these missions. Over time, Gordon becomes close to [no name], eventually not caring that she is a girl. One day, they meet up with the city's most hunted villian-- The Joker. During a mission, The Joker teases Gordon for having a female apprentice, and kidnaps him, nearly killing him. [no name] comes to rescue, and takes Gordon back to his appartment. Gordon goes off on [no name] once more for being a girl, and finally [no name] storms from his appartment and into the night. When he returns to work, his boss demands to know why it matters so much to Gordon that [no name] is a girl. He gets a flashback, where we find out that his daughter was kidnapped and killed by the mob, and he couldn't do anything to save her. He says nothing, but we see this memory in his mind. Meanwhile, [no name] is crouched in a deserted warehouse, fuming to herself about her master's arrogance. The Joker shows up, and sees her so angry. He feeds off of her anger, and offers her a chance to get revenge. Tired of being undermined by Gordon, she accepts, and her new life working for the Joker begins.
This is where I might do a sequel video.
Okay, and things that are missing...
1) The apparentice's name. And a person to play her, obviously.
2) The lady who sends Gordon the apprentice, she needs a name too.
3) I'd like to change the Joker's name, so this story can be completely custom. Any ideas for a good clown villian name?
4) The song I'll probably use for the sequal is "Going Under" by Evanescence, but I don't have a song for the first video.
5) I'm thinking of hiring someone over Youtube to edit it for me, cause let's face it, I suck at editing videos with effects and such.
Well, that's the idea in my mind. Comments? Suggestions? I'll be back online tomorrow afternoon sometime, and I guarentee this'll be tossed around in my head for a while tonight.
Peace.

None, really. I take pride in my weird music obsession.
Name any rare recordings you own.
I own several "rare" records. No rare CDs though.
What was the first live concert you ever attended? Can you remember the opening act?
Avril Lavigne. Her opening act was her manager or some guy.
If you could have a gross of one CD to give away to friends, relatives, co-workers, and/or strangers, what would it be?
